An AMARI BLANKET is a blanket of Tay’s blessings, and also yours.

Titled after the middle name Tay’s mother gifted her with meaning “strength” and “eternal,” these blankets exist to give you long-lasting strength in whatever realm of your life you may need it in. Prayers + content embedded in them can be extremely specific, or as broad as just highlighting “protection”, “self-love, community love, empowerment”, “prosperity”, “comfort from the Ancestors who serve and protect me”, “clarity”, “groundedness”, and so forth. Divinations for Amari Blankets are also explained below.

Tay of (Un)Veiled Divine Technologies creates your blanket from scratch through ritual and double-crocheted crafting, and from there once you have it, you have the option of both working together to pray over it and work with its creation once a year, to let its power grow.

*It is an option to do ritualistic praying as a collective. It’s always beautiful to work with others and make sure your own spiritual power is recognized, as well as pay homage to the spirit of the blanket.

For all larger sizes, prices range between $375 (Throw) - $990 (King) depending on chosen size.

Shipping is included, for domestic ship-offs. International shipping costs may apply for those outside the U.S.

Unless specified in the form you fill out below, colors will vary depending on which type of prayers you wish to go into the blanket. Regardless, the colors will be confirmed or shared with you before the blanket gets created (unless you’d like to be surprised!).

DIVINATION + BLANKET

Don’t exactly know what you need in terms of the prayers + colors, but just know you need a blanket? This option is for you. This is a package deal for you to receive the guidance of your spirits, which will also be for the sake of choosing what type of blanket it is that you need.

We will consult with your spirits (likely Ancestors, non-human spirits, any spirits who advocate on your behalf) using the pen divining technology that Tay’s water spirits trained her in.

CARE INSTRUCTIONS

It would be smoothest to wash it on its own. For smaller blankets (i.e throws and baby blankets), you can also put it into a pillowcase or two as a substitute for mesh wash bags. Washing in a washing machine is fine, simply use cool water and set on a delicate cycle. Handwashing is also acceptable. The material is also machine dryable, just do so with care. Your best bet would be to put it on a gentle tumble dry cycle, or you may spread it out and let it air dry.

Larger blankets (i.e Queen, King) may require being taken to a laundromat in order to be cleaned by heavier-duty machines. Same as above, wash by itself, cold water. In these cases, especially if they do not fit in dryers that you have access to, spread out and let it air dry.

*Please do not iron.

Part of what it means to care for an Amari Blanket includes being mindful of who is allowed to touch it, where it gets to go, and what energy do you want it to interact with. This also includes checking in with yourself and your spirits to see if it is spiritually appropriate + safe for you to post a photo or video of it.

Be intentional of who the blanket is for. It becomes a sacred item for you (or whoever it is for), it may not be permissible for every person to touch it.
