READING THE RECORDS

The purpose of the Records is to collect the stories of our People. The Spirits talk and the past, present, and futures become presented to us. Reading each Record matters no matter the time that you do it. These stories flow together and can be viewed at any time, just each month has been triggered by a single playing card that was divined with. They are not horoscopes, but they do bring us insights that help us govern our destinies. They do allow us to choose to recommit to Blackness, to Black spirits, Black energies, and the colorful strength of the world every single day. Honor the Records, and Remember them. Work with them, journal with the questions, paint with the prompts. I appreciate you all for taking whatever time you’ve put into witnessing these releases. With this year, we will close. Will the Records ever return? Maybe. Maybe not. Let what has already come be processed, and inspire you to listen to your own Spirits for their words of poetry that concern our destinies and alliances. Records are not to be forgotten, but rather returned to and studied.
